Pamir Hotel stands in the centre of Murghab, right on the M41, at 3,600 m above sea level. It is the highest point on the Osh — Khorog route where you can get a proper night of sleep, a hot shower and a hot meal.
The Pamir Highway is the only road linking Osh and Khorog, and it runs straight through Murghab. In summer we host motorcyclists and cyclists from all over the world; in winter, truck drivers and geologists. The glass entrance is covered with stickers left by everyone who has stayed here.

A monument with a snow leopard and the words “Khush omaded” greets you at the entrance. From there it is a few minutes down the main street to the hotel.

Registration, help with the GBAO permit if you need it, and your room key. Your vehicle goes into the yard behind the gate.

The first thing everyone does after the passes. By then the room is already warm.

Soup, yak meat or manty, fresh non bread and tea. The menu on the board is in Russian and English.

Breakfast from 07:00, so you can leave in daylight. Then on to Khorog or Osh, depending on where you came from.

Yes. Entering the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region requires a separate GBAO permit, issued together with your visa or in Dushanbe and Khorog. Our reception can tell you where it is checked along the road.

The hotel sits right on the Pamir Highway (M41) in the centre of Murghab. It is about 420 km from Osh over the Kyzyl-Art pass, and about 310 km from Khorog over the Koi-Tezek pass. There is room in the yard for cars and motorbikes.
